Practice with a Purpose

Happy Halloween!
Anytime you’re practicing the game of golf – the short game or the full swing – have a purpose in mind. Practice putting with one ball from hole-to-hole making as many two putts as possible (no gimmies). Also, always aim at a target on the driving range, and simulate a round of golf by taking time between shots and going through the pre-shot routine.

  1. I agree, having a purpose while practising not only gives better results, but makes things more interesting.

  2. You are so right! Most of us weekend warriors use the practice range like an artillery range..."grip and rip" and fire for effect. Then we wonder what the heck happened between the range and the first tee!
    Good post.
