Golf Zoo/Golf Holiday Intl. introduces Michael Leary

Golf Zoo and GolfHolidays Intl. is pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Michael Leary!

Mike joined Golf Zoo / Golf Holidays Intl. in mid - September as our International Golf Vacation Specialist, working out of the Orlando Florida office. Mike has been organizing and providing guided tours to Ireland and Scotland for over 23 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and “local know how” to the Golf Zoo team.

Mike played in the 1987 British Open Qualifying at Muirfield and though he fell short of qualifying he instantly fell in love with the links courses of both Scotland and Ireland. Living in the Orlando area and working in convention sales at Walt Disney World, by 1990 he was taking his corporate clients on trips to St. Andrews and Ballybunion. It was a natural that he started his own golf travel business. Formerly the owner/operator of Golf Tours International, Mike’s expertise lies in Scotland and Ireland and can tailor an itinerary for any need or budget.

Here are a few packages Mike has assembled for the summer of 2014:

·       Southwest Ireland
·       Western Scotland
·       Scottish Highlands
·       Southwest Ireland - (value)
·       Western Scotland / Northern Ireland
·       Edinburgh Area - (value)

The easiest and most efficient way to get your itinerary right is to simply call Mike and he will email you a complete itinerary for you and your group.

Mike often chuckles and states…

“I can control everything on your trip except the weather and the numbers on your scorecard. So practice and pray and leave the rest to me!”

Amen. Welcome to the Team Mike! We’re glad to have ya.

Especially For Golfers But A Lesson To All. . . .

A man was walking down the street when he was accosted by a particularly
dirty and shabby-looking homeless man who asked him for a couple of dollars for dinner.

The man took out his wallet, extracted ten dollars and asked, "If I give you this money,
will you buy some beer with it instead of dinner?"

"No, I had to stop drinking years ago," the homeless man replied.

"Will you spend this on green fees at a golf course instead of food?" the man asked.

"Are you NUTS!" replied the homeless man. "I haven't played golf in 30 years!"

"Well," said the man, "I'm not going to give you money. Instead, I'm going to take
you home for a shower and a terrific dinner cooked by my wife."

The homeless man was astounded. "Won't your wife be furious with you for doing that?

The man replied, "That's okay. It's important for her to see what a man looks like
after he has given up drinking and golf."
